ABOUT ME

I have aspired to be a professional writer for as long as I can remember. I spent elementary and middle school with a deep love for creative writing -- poetry, fiction, anything I could get my hands on. I refined that love when I began understanding the impact I could have on a grander scale. Creative writing spun into journalism where I could solve real problems, conduct investigations, and communicate with the people most affected. I love writing about anything that interests me: art, music, people, and social justice issues (most notably).

I am currently a graduating senior at Emerson College majoring in journalism, with minors in nonprofit communication and hearing & deafness. With experience from local publications, social justice magazines, school publications, and broadcast networks, I hope to continue my work in the professional journalism industry.
